2016 Coriole Lloyd Reserve Shiraz

Tasting: A profound midnight black center enveloped by a deep, dark red with black-tinged edges. The aromas are intense, featuring notes of liquorice, blackberry, and black cherry, intertwined with subtle hints of smoked vanillin cedar, fennel, and pepper. The palate is exceptionally rich and concentrated, inundated with lavish black cherry, liquorice, and blackberry flavors, supported by sturdy tannins and well-defined acidity, lending the wine a robust character. Subtle undertones of vanillin cedar, faint traces of black olive, fennel, and black pepper also emerge. The wine exhibits excellent depth, culminating in a long, opulent yet commanding aftertaste.
